A Bit of Info About Writing Murder Goes Solo

This is my 2nd novel, but I released a Christmas novella in July.
I’m still new to figuring everything out and doing a little “fake it til you make it”.
I enjoy several cozy mysteries–Murder She Wrote show, Monk (is he cozy? not sure), Seaside Knitters Mystery series, and several random cozies.
I grew up in LOVE with Trixie Belden and Nancy Drew and read almost everyone–except the one in the series that had something about witches. My mom didn’t allow that.
I’ve played the piano for 46 years and began college majoring in piano pedagogy until working to pay for college put the kibosh on that. My grade depended on hours spent practicing and I had to work to pay my way through school.
Unlike Piper, I did NOT train at Julliard. Piper is richer, skinnier, and better at the piano than I am, but I still like her.
Rosie comes from my vintage-loving self. If I was young and thin, I’d dress like Rosie FOR SURE. Perhaps not the 70s groovy stuff though (shudder).
Cranberry Harbor, WI is fictional but I imagine it’s like Cedarburg, WI or Door County (but it can’t be Door County, because Piper #2 will take place in Door County). In my mind, it’s somewhere around Marquette County
There are a few more stories from writing this, but I’ll save them for later.
Thank you for stopping by!
