What’s the best part of Christmas? Well, for me, the answer is everything! I enjoy the lights, the music, the family time, the traditions, the treats–all of it.
Last week, Jennifer Elwood invited me to share my new devotional Unwrapping 5 Names of God For Christmas on her Facebook page— you can still watch it.
I shared a funny story from my devotional about our family’s tradition of giving gag gifts and the year I got a rat trap. My dad kindly dug up a picture of the rat trap that we’ve passed around in our family for the past several years.
I also released a family edition of the same five names of God. Unwrapping 5 Names Of God For Christmas Family Edition has activities and ideas to help you teach these names of God to your children.
Both devotionals are no guilt–whatever you do or don’t do is up to you. Enjoy them, and don’t allow them to introduce any stress into your holiday season.
I’m interested to hear what your favorite part of Christmas is? What’s your favorite song? Favorite treat? Favorite tradition? Favorite movie?
What’s the best part of Christmas for you?

Obviously, as a Christian, celebrating the birth of our Savior, is the best part of Christmas! But beyond that, putting the ornaments on the tree because it brings back memories! Many ornaments have a story to them and hearing the kids reminisce is heart warming!
